Alternating punctuality
Three of my college buses go past my house and I can board any of these to college. There is this person who boards the first of the three buses along with me.
He displays what I will call alternating punctuality. He will miss the first bus on alternative days of the week by arriving a little late. That is, if he is punctual on Monday, he will not be so on Wednesday and Friday.
I believe it is probably because every time he comes late and misses the bus, he tells himself to come earlier the next day. But again, after the next day, the old habit returns and he comes late again. And this little cycle has been repeating for the past two weeks.
The human nature never ceases to amaze me.
That is, perhaps, the most funniest thing I’ve ever read. Although, I think I am worse than the person you talk about. Atleast the boy learns his lesson. I, unfortunately, never did and am always late for the bus.
