That guilty feeling

Singapore is a fine city. Atleast it used to be. While I was there, I forced myself not to litter in public places. After all, there are better ways of spending a $500 than giving it to the governement as a fine.

But back at India, where no one cares or bothers about such “silly” acts, I still can’t bring myself to throw waste paper, used tissues and other assorted garbage just like that on the streets. Grr. And to rub salt on my guilt ridden wounds, you don’t find rubbish bins on roads easily.

Habits die hard. They really do.
